Job Description:
I am an Administrative Support Assistant for the John A. Dutton e-Educaiton Institute. I began working for the Institute in February 2014. Prior to coming to the Institute, I worked in the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research. Before that, I worked in the Department of Geography as a graduate staff assistant.
- Administrative Support Responsibilities: Provide administrative support for daily operations of the Dutton e-Education Institute and the College's online program portfolio, with a special focus on the iMPS-RESS and M.Ed. in Earth Sciences programs. I work closely with the Institute personnel, College of EMS academic departments, World Campus, and the Graduate School.
- Program Assistant for the Inter-College Masters of Professional Studies in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems and Graduate Certificate Programs. This online degree is offered in collaboration between the Colleges of Agricultural Science, Engineering, Earth & Minerals Sciences and Liberal Arts, the Graduate School, and the World Campus.The RESS program also offers Graduate Certificates is Bioenergy, Solar Energy, and Sustainability Management and Policy. I am the first point of contact for students and faculty regarding issues related these programs.
- Program Assistant for the M. Ed program. This online degree is offered in collaboration with the Dutton e-Education Institute, the World Campus, and Penn State's Department of Geosciences.
