I am an Administrative Support Assistant for the John A. Dutton e-Education Institute. I began working for the Institute in February 2014. Prior to coming to the Institute, I worked as an Administrative Support Undergraduate Assistant in the Department of Geography for 6 years
Administrative Support Responsibilities: Manage the Lead Faculty of Geospatial Intelligence and Home Land Security’s calendar. It is also my responsibility to help plan and organize activities being held within the Dutton Institute, such as special meetings, seminars, lectures, conferences and workshops along with ordering and managing the Institutes supplies.
Program Assistant for the Geospatial Intelligence Option in the Master of Homeland Security. This degree is offered in collaboration between the Home Land Security program office in Harrisburg, the Graduate School and World Campus. I am the first point of contact for students and faculty regarding issues related to the program.
Program Assistant for the Master of Geographic Information Systems, the Graduate Certificate Programs in Geospatial Intelligence Analytics & Geospatial Intelligence Applications, Graduate Certificate Program in Remote Sensing and Earth Observation, Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Programming and Web Map Development, and for the Postbaccalaureate Certificate Program in Geographic Information Systems. These certificates work in collaboration with the Institute, the World Campus and the Graduate School. I also work closely with the MGIS Program Admissions Committee and Penn State’s Department of Geography and serve as the point of contact for students and faculty regarding issues related to the program.
