BA 850
Sustainability-Driven Innovation

Welcome to BA 850 Sustainability-Driven Innovation; I look forward to having you as a student and colleague in the course.

I have written this course to embrace the diversity of experience we would expect in a Graduate-level course–from forensic accounting to solar engineering–in order to apply our strengths in finding, framing, and leveraging opportunities in the sustainability space.

For this reason, and because sustainability-driven innovation is an emerging field, our time together will be heavily centered on weekly cases and group discussions. We will examine cases from Tesla to Caterpillar, we will create cognitive maps to guide strategy, and we will learn specific ways to test and launch businesses effectively. My hope is that you will find the course both highly practical and philosophical.

What will we learn about in the Orientation?
