Overview

Learning Objectives

  1. Evaluate the value of sustainability as a social and global norm.
  2. Integrate the three ethical dimensions of sustainable development: Moral relations among contemporaries (environmental and global justice), with future generations, and nature.
  3. Identify potential ethical conflicts in the context of sustainability.
  4. Compare theoretical approaches to analyze environmental ethical issues and conflicts.
  5. Visualize how sustainability can be implemented in the context of established societal values.
  6. Establish the relationships among sustainability, efficiency, justice.
