As an Associate Teaching Professor and the Associate Head for Undergraduate Education in the Energy and Mineral Engineering Department at Penn State, I am passionate about education and the success of my students, especially when it comes to energy-related topics. My background is in Geophysics and Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and lately my research has been focused on geologic carbon sequestration. More broadly, I am interested in applying data science, statistics, and machine learning to all forms of problems in the Energy Industry.

I greatly look forward to working with you in this course, and hope that we can meet at some point, whether it be remotely or in-person. I can be reached at eugene.morgan at psu.edu, or feel free to stop by my office: 115 Hosler Building, University Park.
