Empirical Analysis of CSR

Durability is an experience, an aspect of the quality of a product, but an experience that happens over duration. In this case, an experience product could be a healthcare intervention (surgery) or education. The reliability/durability of the product can only be determined as an experience of the quality of the product in relation to time.
Non-durable experience goods are best exemplified as events, like a concert, movie, and sports game.
Does this make sense? It's embedded within broader differentials between search products and experience products. It’s somewhat esoteric and not important here... though it is helpful in distinguishing what types of things you are aiming for in a nonmarket strategy.

Corporate governance and lobbying paper

More entrenched management leads to greater amounts of lobbying efforts, but the efforts are less intense. So, firms with less entrenched management would likely have more focused lobbying efforts, but fewer overall. In terms of our projects, a firm with entrenched management would push numerous target campaigns but they would be less intense than a "single issue" firm (with less entrenched management) putting all of its resources into one main social and/or political issue.  A simple example can be seen in very large firms (in the U.S.) donating to political campaigns of both parties, while smaller firms may be to one side or another of the political spectrum.
"The results indicate that firms with more entrenched management have a greater tendency to engage in lobbying activities. Within the group of firms that lobby, there is a negative relation between the degree to which management is entrenched and the lobbying intensity.”
