Welcome to GEOG 438W: Human Dimensions of Global Warming!
Instructor
Hello! I look forward to working with you all this semester. I bring a range of experience to this course: After earning a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Systems from Penn State World Campus, I started developing small commercial solar farms. ⚡Currently ⚡, I'm working with Clean Choice Energy [1] to bring solar generation online to serve our retail electric customer base. I also serve on my local planning commission, helping guide the long-term character and safety of our town. Previously, I worked in environmental education, teaching at camps and schools helping young people learn to love and protect the beauty of Nature. Outside of the office, I tackle restoration projects on the new/old home I share with my wife and three children, and I like to play disc golf and complicated board games.
Like many of you, I'll work on this course evenings and weekends around my day job and other obligations.
