This week we will be sharing out some 360° videos that depict life in refugee camps. These videos can just be viewed "as is" on your computer or mobile device. You can get a sense of the 360° aspect by clicking on the video and dragging your mouse in any direction. However, for a truly immersive experience, they can be viewed using a device such as Google cardboard, which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the 360° filming.
We encourage you to regularly take some time to connect with these stories. We will continue to highlight, over the next couple of weeks, stories about some of the real people behind the big data.
If you have any articles or videos that you find to be particularly moving or inspiring, please share them with the rest of our group in the Refugees Resources Discussion in the General Information Module in Canvas. Please make sure that you have shared something by the end of this lesson.
This is a 360 video of a migrant camp on the Greek island of Lesbos.
This video documents life inside a Calais, France migrant camp. These refugees were hoping to make it to the UK.
We look forward to reading/viewing articles or videos that you find to be particularly moving or inspiring. Remember to share them with the rest of our group in the Refugees Resources Discussion in Canvas.
