Kay DiMarco has been working in film and video production since 1982. As a media specialist for the Dutton Institute, she runs the Earth and Mineral Science Faculty Studio and collaborates with faculty to produce videos for online courses and educational outreach. She was the supervising editor for Right on the Money, a national PBS series, did camera work for Newton's Apple, and has worked as a director of photography, editor, writer and producer for corporations, government and public service organizations.
With a chemistry degree from Penn State and decades of making video content to inform and inspire, Kay is uniquely suited to support your science video endeavors. While studying chemistry and working as a laboratory technologist in the College of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, she contributed to papers published in: Journal of Dairy Sciences, ACS Physical Chemistry Journal, International Journal of Genomics, and Biotechnology for Biofuel.
Her personal work, in the genre of film as art, has been shown at the Hirshhorn Museum, Pasadena Film Forum, M.I.T., Berks Filmmakers, The Light Factory, Newark Museum, Philadelphia College of Art, The Atlantic Film Society, Montclair Art Museum, Film in the Cites, Suburban World Theater, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the New Jersey State Museum.
