Overview
As introduced in Lesson 10, we will take a "policy" approach to nonmarket analysis and in how to write actionable plans. This Lesson (11) looks at how the implementation of certain energy and or environmental policies (or lack thereof) can be evaluated for their nonmarket conditions and externalities. There are many lessons to be learned from the empirical analysis of nonmarket evaluations of the economic productivity impacts as well as the social and environmental costs of energy production.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:
- identify the key nonmarket differences between successful and unsuccessful projects;
- describe key aspects of nonmarket policy evaluations; and
- survey the policy landscape within range of nonmarket targets.
