Welcome to GEOG 855!

I have worked as a consultant for over 25 years serving clients in the transportation, scientific, environmental, and manufacturing industries. For the past 15 years, my efforts have been primarily focused on developing GIS software applications for transportation. I led a development team tasked with maintaining over 40 spatially enabled applications for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). I am currently working closely with PennDOT’s Bureau of Public Transportation and the 60 or so public transit agencies in Pennsylvania to advance statewide technology initiatives in public transportation. I hold a bachelor of science in chemistry from Saint John Fisher College, a master of science in physical chemistry from the University of Rochester, and a master's degree in GIS from Penn State.
