Lesson 10 Introduction

Lesson 10 Overview

A project plan should not be a document to be filed and forgotten. It becomes the basis for execution and the baseline for documenting changes. In this lesson, we discuss how the project plan is used most effectively.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:

  • prepare an integrated project plan that addresses all PMI "knowledge areas";
  • discuss effective execution of a project plan; and
  • describe how the system view of an organization and integrated change control processes are important to GIS project managers.

See the checklist page for readings, quiz, and assignment work in this Lesson.
