Required Readings

There are several required readings for Lesson 3. The first one describes a previous wetland restoration project involving GIS led by some of the same researchers who created the vegetation data we will use in Lessons 3 and 4. The wetland described in the report, Metzger Marsh, is adjacent to the study site. The second reading provides more information about invasive species in the Great Lakes. The third fact sheet describes the actual restoration work completed at the study site. The last link is additional information about a Magee Marsh Wildlife Area wetland improvement project, which is also adjacent.
