A simple image is an image that can be described in 140 characters or less. A good alt tag will:
- Concisely describe the image in less than 140 characters (like a tweet)
- Convey the content and purpose of the image
- Not be a duplicate of the caption
- Not begin with "image of," "graph of," etc.
The code for a simple image is <img alt="Description of image (140 characters or less)"src="image2.jpg">
The alt tag for the image below reads "Workers in hair nets handle donkey cheese in a sterile test kitchen."
