Learning Outcomes

By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:

  1. Write a program in which an object responds to input from the mouse or keyboard
  2. Write a program that uses the random() function
  3. Write your own function

What is due for Lesson 4?

This lesson will take us one week to complete, 1 - 7 Feb 2017. This lesson involves two graded items:

  1. Paper discussion using a discussion forum in Canvas, detailed on the next page
  2. Programming exercises, detailed on the pages after that. You will submit Exercises 4.8, 4.11 and 4.12 to assignment dropboxes in Canvas.

Questions?

If you have any questions, please post them to our Questions? discussion forum (not e-mail) in Canvas. I will check that discussion forum daily to respond. While you are there, feel free to post your own responses if you, too, are able to help out a classmate.
