Discussion Post
By now, you should have read the course website and listened to the Game Changer podcasts. The first assignment for Lesson 1 is to participate in Lesson 1 Discussion. This is a two-part assignment. You are required to post your thoughts on the task below and later respond tp at least one of your peers' responses. Please respond to a post that has not been replied to yet, so everyone gets involved.
Note: You may want to type your response in a word processing program like Word or Google Docs before posting your response to the the Discussion. Both tools have a word count option. Your original post should be under 250 words long, same with your replies to any peers.
Your Task
First, identify 3 examples of each constructive and contentious conversations in the podcasts that you listened to earlier.
Next, describe how one of the contentious portions of conversation could be made more constructive. What could the participants in the podcast have done differently? Refer back in the lesson to better understand how to have constructive conversations.
Once you have made your original post to the discussion, please reply to at least one of your peers' posts. The post must add to the conversation. Please reply to a post that has not been previously replied to by another peer.
Scoring
This assignment counts towards your class participation grade. It's worth 10 points.
